Creativity : Wellbeing


Lately I've been reading some great studies about how creativity and mental wellbeing are interlinked; and what better time to share my thoughts than Mental Health Awareness Week...


I can honestly testify that engaging in creative activity improves motivation, concentration and helps to develop a stronger more positive sense of self!

This painting is an example of what happens when it's just me, a paintbrush and probably Arctic Monkeys...


Who knows what it means...maybe that I want feathers for eyelashes...or maybe it's just all the colourful thoughts escaping my kaleidoscope of an overactive brain...?! Either way it was some ME time away from over analysing the past and worrying about the future! If this post reaches out to anyone to give creative thinking a try-I'm happy!
